Ok the last few days we had quite the snow storm.  So today church was cancelled.  Kinda sad,  cuz I was looking forward to it,  but the roads are a mess.  So we got to sleep in and have brunch!!

Two Whole Years!!!:) :)

Two years since the day Matthew and I got married!!  It hardly feels that long,  and yet on the other hand,  it feels like forever!!  It has been an awesome two years,  and I am pumped to see what the Lord has in store for us in the coming year!!!



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Harvest

I can hardly believe that its September already.  It seems like the last few months have just flown by!  This year's harvest has not been without its challenges,  but we have managed to get it all into the bins,  and we are very thankful.  ( My husband helps his dad on the farm during harvest season.)  The only thing that is left to combine for this year is the soybeans,  which will have to wait another week or so. Jayden and I had a lot of fun going with Matthew in the combine or swather or bale picker,  pretty much whatever he was driving.  Jayden learned where the horn was on the tractor and how to steer with daddy's help!!!





 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Prayerful Wives

This topic has been on my heart for quite awhile,  and I know what I'm about to share has been shared before.  When God created man he looked around and saw that all the animals had partners,  but man was alone.  He was lonely,  there was something missing.  God saw this need and created woman (Genesis 1:20-24).  Out of MAN God created the woman,  and they were joined together in marriage.  I think this has a deeper meaning than what appears on the surface.  God could have created the woman out of the dust just as he did the man.  He could have made just another man to be a companion to the first man.  But no,  God created woman because there was a need only the woman could fulfill.  And this brings me to my point.  God created us women to be the missing piece in our husbands lives.  We are called to support them and help them be the leader in our home both physically and spiritually. We can do this is through prayer.  We send our husbands out in the morning Monday through Friday into the world to make a living.  They do their work and encounter a lot of people in one day.  They hear and see things that we as wives don't have to deal with.  I believe we as wives have a huge responsiblity to pray for our husbands for strength to stand strong in their faith as they face the world.  Its our duty,  our mandate as wives,  as their helpmeet.

I know that the things that I have shared have been said before.  I hope though,  that you can be encouraged and challenged to pray for your husband,  your marriage,  and your family.  The most important thing that makes up our society.  Pray hard.  The devil doesn't give up.

There has been a lot going on around here so we haven't really had a birthday party for Jayden yet,  but here are some pics of the birthday cupcake that he had just at home.

Since I only have one kid,  I have more pics of him!!  Ten months last Saturday!!! He learned to crawl two weeks ago,  and got his third tooth Sunday!!!

Jayden's favorite thing to do when we are outside is play with the cat.  And honestly,  I feel sorry for her sometimes,  cuz he's not really that gentle.  She's really good with it and just takes it all in!!
